The Most Unique Wedding Cake from KB Kakes

When Ella called she shared a story with me that brought me to tears.  We began chatting and planning her wedding cake.  Her story touched me so much that I wanted to share it with you!

The Very Original KB Kakes Wedding Kake

Ella (Bride) shared with me that since she was a little girl of 4 years old she dreamed of getting married under the big Oak Tree on her parent's property.  She and her fiance got engaged and started planning and getting excited, when not long after her parent's home was destroyed in a fire and the much loved Oak tree was also tarnished by the flames.

The Tree still standing but bark peeling

Ella told me that once that happened she stopped all planning and it has been several years since that happened.  Every time she started to think about getting married she would start crying.  It wasn't until recently when her friend reminded her that she was engaged and they should get married.

So, the kake that KB Kakes kreated for Ella was none other than an Oak Tree Stump that looked like it had been cut.  The detail that went into this masterpiece was amazing!  KB even mimicked the yellow flowers her brother had planted around the oak tree without even knowing what the flowers were.

The Oak Wedding Kake "A New Beginning"

KB Kakes was honored to be a part of this very special day for Ella and her Groom!  We are so glad that KB Kakes could create a wedding cake that not only helped keep a part of her past childhood dreams alive but also symbolizes a "New Beginning"!

KB even "carved" their initials in the tree (kake)

Her parents have rebuilt their homestead and the reception was held there.  Ella and her now husband exchanged their vows in the horse pasture.  How fitting.  We were so glad that we could be a big part of their special day.  And as always, Let KB Kakes be your sweet ending to your dream wedding.

We wish both of you the best and a  long happy marriage!!  Congratulations Ella and T.J.
